Hey there,

Yesterday I attended Page des Libraires's annual shindig, where employees from bookstores all over France tell us about what's about to come out as part of the September Rentrée littéraire - jeunesse and famous authors stop by for a chat. What's not to love? Oh, and they feed us and give us free books. The best!

Stay tuned for transcriptions/translations of the authors’ interviews about their latest novels: Clémentine Beauvais, Florence Hinckel, Guillaume Guéraud, Marion Brunet… Yum!
Here’s a sneak peek of what I’ll be reviewing over the summer:
[I've already reviewed The Poet X, as part of the Carnegie Medal Shadowing project.]

I'm particularly excited about Sans foi ni loi, a feminist Western by Marion Brunet, and the unfortunately-named YA magazine Dong "La revue qui résonne", which includes an email correspondence between teenagers from different countries in each issue.
See you soon!
